Our Neighborhood Recommendation
This can be a clear cue for children it’s time to sleep. Young children who do not have great muscle control and sometimes startle easily can benefit from being somewhat restricted during sleep in the first three months.
Children can become dependent on their sleep suit or swaddle for sleep each night. Infants may become frustrated by the swaddles while still dependent. Swaddles and sleep suits restrict children’s movement and don't actually help them move toward sleep. Transitioning out of the suits can be challenging.
