Hanna was born in Fairfax, Virginia. She moved to Charlottesville in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts  in Sculpture and Extended Media from VCUarts in 2020 with a focus in Italian Studies.. Hanna has been a tutor and a teacher for 2 years before joining the team at Our Neighborhood. She also did non-profit work in college. 

In her free time, Hanna makes art including sculptures, furniture, poetry, and glasswork. She enjoys reading, camping, and playing competitive video games. Hanna is looking forward to supporting kids through their experimentation and play, and making a difference in early childhood development.
