Shannon Wagoner

Shannon grew up in northern Virginia before attending Roanoke College. There she studied psychology and many of her chosen electives were in human development. Before starting at ON, Shannon worked with English language learners, neurodiverse children, and underserved children in different settings. In addition to co-teaching at ON, she is currently on the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) Associate pathway in her practicum year.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys writing, reading, and photography. She finds great value in putting the Our Neighborhood and RIE principles and values into her relational work with children and adults alike. She loves the imagination that children bring to life, and is continuously learning from them with joy.
