Bricyn was raised in the Inland Empire in California. Growing up, she’d observe her teachers and babysit her siblings and cousins, sparking the dream of her wanting to become a teacher. After graduating High School and traveling the U.S. for a bit, her family settled in Charlottesville in July 2025, where she went through UVA’s Pipelines & Pathways program for their  Early Learning Career Launch. She got her credentials to teach preschool-age children and is looking forward to  learning from her fellow Educarers and Friends at Our Neighborhood!

During her free time, Bricyn enjoys spending time with her family, exploring  Charlottesville and all it has to offer. She loves to draw, write, and play outside with her siblings. She’s excited be a part of Our Neighborhood and begin her teaching journey!
