Rainy was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. She has worked with children since she was a teenager and able to babysit. After being a summer camp counselor for a few years, she realized that working with kids was something she wanted to pursue more fully. Rainy found Our Neighborhood shortly after moving to Charlottesville and resonated with the philosophy held by the school. She is excited to learn alongside the friends she meets at ONCDC. 

In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, crafts, playing board games, being outdoors, and spending time with her cat and loved ones.
