Originally from Bronx, NY, Rory moved to Virginia when he was 13 years old. Throughout his childhood he became accustomed to being in charge of children younger than him. He spent his time from elementary to middle school in an afterschool program, which allowed him to interact with children on the day to day basis. 

A value they’ve always held to their core is treating children like their own people. They love watching them imagine and problem solve, and absolutely adore children as a whole. Striving to be apart of the ONDC team was not something he expected to drift into, but the words “You’d be really cool as a teacher,” pushed him to try something new.

In their free time they enjoy dancing at raves, doing arts and crafts, and indulging in doll collecting.
