Shannon Wagoner

Shannon grew up in Lovettsville, Virginia before attending Roanoke College. There they studied psychology and many of their chosen electives were in human development. During their summers they worked with English language learners, and they also spent time in Washington, D.C. working with underserved children. Upon graduation they began her work with neurodiverse children, many of whom were on the autism spectrum. They has also taught children horsemanship skills for many years.

In their free time, Shannon enjoys riding horses, hiking, and watching documentaries. They are excited to be part of Our Neighborhood and put values into practice that they have long held in their heart. They loves the imagination that children bring to life, and hopes to learn all they can from them.
