Thinking, Fast and Slow
by Daniel Kahneman

Review:
“Thinking, Fast and Slow” explores brain research into adult thinking and decision making a powerful resource for leaders who are dedicated to value-based decision making. The authors explain our decision making structures including some of the faults and biases we all have. As an educator this is a new perspective on some of the brain research that guides our classroom practices. This is well worth the read for both business leaders and early childhood leaders.
Key Points:
- Our decision making systems are complex and sometimes flawed.
- Each chapter has little takeaways that you can use in your everyday life to help improve your ability to make sound value-based decisions.
Challenges:
- On a long list of great non-fiction books out there.
